Inspired by the pioneering physicist Hermann von Helmholtz, our Helmholtz coil design embodies precision and innovation. Constructed from two meticulously engineered copper coils, each with a precisely defined radius, these coils are positioned at a distance equal to their radius. This clever arrangement leads to a notable outcome – the central convergence of magnetic uniformity, forming a focal point of exceptional precision.
Due to the inherently three-dimensional nature of magnetic field perturbations, our approach involves the incorporation of rotational capabilities for both the coils and the watch holder. This thoughtfully engineered design enables a thorough exploration of the impact of magnetic fields from a multitude of angles and perspectives, offering a comprehensive understanding of their effects.
